Dentures
Teeth that fit well, look natural and are made under one roof
A denture replaces missing teeth with a removable set, either a full arch or a partial that fits around the teeth you still have. Dr. Hazaveh designs each denture around your face and bite and makes it in the practice’s own lab, so the fit is checked and refined in person rather than sent away.

A good denture is one you forget about, because it stays put and looks like your own teeth.
What it is
A full denture replaces all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw and rests on the gums. A partial denture replaces some teeth and clips to the natural teeth around it, which also keeps those teeth from drifting. Both are made to be taken out for cleaning and at night.
An implant-retained denture is a full denture that clicks onto a small number of implants instead of resting on the gum alone. It stays far more stable when you eat and speak, and the implants help support the bone beneath. It is still removed for cleaning. For a denture that never comes out, All-on-4 fixes a full bridge to the implants instead.
Dentures are designed from scans and photographs around the shape of your face, your lip line and your bite, then made in-house with digital design and 3D printing. That means a try-in you can see and feel, quick adjustments, and relines or repairs done in the practice rather than sent out.
It may be right for you if
- You’re missing most or all of your teeth in one or both jaws
- You’re missing several teeth and want them replaced without surgery
- Your current denture slips, rubs or has worn down
- You’d like a denture that clicks onto implants for a steadier fit
- You want teeth that suit your face rather than a standard set
What to expect
01
Consultation
Dr. Hazaveh examines your mouth, gums and any remaining teeth, and talks through full, partial and implant-retained options. If implants are a possibility, a CBCT scan shows what your bone can support.
02
Scans and design
Your mouth is scanned and photographed, and the denture is designed digitally: the shape and shade of the teeth, the lip support and the bite, all planned around your face.
03
Try-in
A trial denture is made so you can see the teeth in your mouth and check how they look and feel when you speak and smile. Changes are made at this stage, before the final denture is finished.
04
Fitting and adjustments
The final denture is made in-house and fitted. A few short visits in the first weeks let Dr. Hazaveh ease any sore spots and fine-tune the bite as you get used to it.
Living with a denture
New dentures take a little getting used to: speaking and eating feel different at first, and small sore spots are normal and are quickly adjusted. Over the years the gums beneath a denture change shape, so a reline or a remake keeps the fit good. Dentures are cleaned daily and taken out at night to rest the gums.
- Take the denture out at night and keep it in water or a cleaning solution
- Brush it daily with a denture brush, and brush your gums and any natural teeth
- Start with soft foods cut small, and chew on both sides
- Come back for adjustments rather than putting up with a sore spot
- Have the fit checked regularly, and ask about a reline if it loosens

That is the aim. The teeth are chosen and arranged to suit your face, age and lip line rather than taken from a standard set, and you see them at a try-in before the denture is finished. Small changes at that stage make a real difference.
Most people adjust within a few weeks. Speaking and eating feel different at first, and your tongue and cheeks learn to hold the denture steady. Adjustment visits in the first weeks take care of any sore spots.
A denture that clicks onto two or more implants instead of resting on the gum alone. It is much more stable, especially a lower denture, and you still take it out to clean. If you would rather have teeth that never come out, All-on-4 fixes a bridge to the implants instead.
The denture itself can last many years, but the gums and bone beneath it change shape over time, so it will need relining and eventually replacing to keep the fit good. Regular checks let us catch a loosening fit early.
Usually, yes. Because the denture is made in-house, relines, repairs and adjustments are done in the practice rather than sent to an outside lab, so you are without it for as little time as possible.
