Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Artistic Dentistry website collects and how it is handled. It covers this website only; how we protect our patients’ health information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Last updated October 11, 2026
01Who we are
Artistic Dentistry is a cosmetic and family dental practice led by Dr. Kami Hazaveh, DMD, at 501 Carsonia Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Artistic Dentistry, and “the site” means this website.
02What this policy covers
This policy applies to information connected with your use of this website. It does not cover the health information we create or receive when you are our patient, such as your dental records, or information you give us in our office or by phone in connection with your care. That information is protected under the federal HIPAA privacy rules and other applicable law, and is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is also available on this site.
03What the site collects today
We built this site to collect as little information as possible. As the site works today:
- It does not set cookies.
- It does not use analytics, advertising, or other tracking tools, and it does not include tracking pixels or social media plugins.
- It has no user accounts or logins, and it does not accept online payments.
- The homepage remembers, for your current visit only, that you have already passed its opening screen, so it is not shown again when you come back to it. This is kept in your browser’s session storage, holds nothing about you, and is cleared when you close the tab.
- The web fonts the site uses are served from our own site, so loading them does not send requests to an outside font service.
04Technical information needed to deliver the site
Like any website, this site can only be delivered when your browser sends a request to the servers that host it. Those requests automatically include standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront), which receives this information in order to deliver pages to you and to protect its service. We have not turned on access logging, so we do not keep a record of these requests, and we do not use this information to identify individual visitors, build profiles, or advertise to you.
05Information you choose to give us
If you call us or write to us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, and the reason you are contacting us. We use it to respond to you, schedule appointments, and provide care. Once you are a patient, the health information we hold about you is handled as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. Please do not enter health information on this website.
06How we use and share information
We use the limited information described in this policy to operate, maintain, and secure the site, to respond to you when you contact us, and to comply with the law. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing. We may disclose information when the law requires it, such as in response to a valid court order, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of our patients, our practice, or others.
07Links and outside services
The site links to Google Maps so you can get directions to our office. When you follow that link you leave our site, and Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what you do there. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.
The homepage can also play an optional ambient sound that is generated by the site itself. Turning it on does not collect or send any information.
08Cookies and Do Not Track
Because the site sets no cookies and uses no tracking tools, there is nothing to opt out of today. The site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or similar privacy signal. If we ever add cookies or similar technology, we will update this policy first, as explained below.
09Children’s privacy
We welcome patients of all ages, but this website is not designed to collect information from anyone, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. A parent or guardian should call us about a child’s care.
10Security
We take reasonable steps, appropriate to a website of this kind, to protect the site, including hosting it with an established cloud provider. No website or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11Changes to this policy
This policy describes the site as it works today. Before we introduce anything that would collect new information, such as website analytics or an online form that sends messages to our office, we will update this policy to explain what will be collected, how it will be used, and any choices you have, and we will post the updated policy here with a new date.
We may also update this policy for other reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
12Contact us
If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle information, please call or write to us. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm, and Saturday, 8am to 2pm.
